The Brief

We were challenged to create a new speculative office space with efficient commercial floor plates and an elegant form. The floor plates needed to be highly sub-divisible to attract a variety of tenants. Our clients’ aspiration was to set the standard for further future contemporary schemes, to transform Woking town centre.

Concept

Sitting along a key axis to the town centre, it was important that our design for the seven storey building would transform its location and provide a new gateway building into Woking from the North. Surrounded by existing residential buildings, our design maximised building area whilst allowing good levels of daylight into the residential properties.

Features

Our BREEAM ‘Excellent’ design has a commercial unit and main reception located at ground floor and a roof-top meeting suite and terrace overlooking Horsell common. An elegant, fully glazed façade maximises natural light throughout the building, providing impressive views of the surrounding landscape. Parking is provided at ground floor level and in a hidden basement.
