The brief we set ourselves was to design a World Class Business setting that would compete on the global stage and attract both national and international occupiers, providing unified facilities in a flexible framework that could provide the ability to adapt over the decades and remain relevant.
The underlying concept of the masterplan is to provide a new destination with format, and flexibility that can provide diversity of elements that have an interaction with the wider context of Skolkovo.
Providing an environment where the buildings are at one with the landscape and defining a distinctive setting where working, learning, socialising and embracing wellbeing can coexist symbiotically.
The Skolkovo site provides the unique opportunity to create a distinctive masterplan through the utilisation of dramatic approaches and by embracing the natural character and topography of the landscape. The potential existed to create a distinctive, holistic masterplan with a structured presence to provide an exceptional business park and set a premium environment for business users to locate within.
