This global technology were relocating to Munich and looking to consolidate their group brands into one hub. In the process they wanted to analyse how their employees worked to ensure they created a variety of agile working environments, with a sophisticated design and local and travel themes incorporated into the meeting rooms and open spaces.
The work carried out by our Design Strategy Service and our interior design team resulted in the creation of a mix of open plan working areas, a central atrium, meeting pod rooms, individual phone booths, VC rooms, a reception and client suite, staff entertainment and café, and an outside roof bar and terrace area. Large windows provide vast amounts of natural light. The industrial style 1950’s men’s department store building has been reinvigorated, whilst its history has been retained in many of the design elements.
These design elements include a traditional curved glass display case; coloured round door handles inspired by buttons. Whilst the fashion meets travel themes in meeting rooms include: Bavarian wear, King Ludwig, Olympics, Volks Musik and Augustiner beer.
One happy staff member said: ‘Its definitely one of the best offices we have in EMEA”.
