Massimiliano is an Associate architect, based in the London studio and specialises in the design and delivery of aviation and transportation projects. He has extensive experience working and studying in several countries including Italy, Spain and Sweden. He has multi-disciplinary experience in the development design and delivery of award-winning large scale complex projects, with senior experience in aviation both in the UK and internationally.
His versatile design and cultural background, which includes previous experience as a researcher in university, has allowed him to bring an innovative approach to his designs, with a passion for creativity and a flair to turn challenging issues into design opportunities.
Massimiliano’s recent works includes design coordination for the construction expansion of Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka for the main terminal and two piers, Medina Airport expansion, including a new masterplan proposal in Saudi Arabia and Heathrow West - the alternative proposal for the Heathrow expansion. This is a complex scheme for the new Terminal 6 campus with an integrated transport interchange responsive to its context, community and strives to provide contemporary sustainable design.
He has previously designed and delivered a variety of complex, large projects from international high-luxury residential dwellings and mixed use through to an extension scheme for a leading university, retail and conservation projects.
