Alex leads the practice’s recently opened Edinburgh office and is responsible for business development and in leading projects within the Scottish and Northern regions.  He has over twenty years’ experience in development, masterplanning and facility transformation and has worked at community level through to government agency level in the course of his activities.

Alex has worked with government enterprise, development agency, health agency, and local and regional authority clients on a large number and range of different initiatives. He has considerable major project experience, with a track record in managing large scale commercial and infrastructure projects in the mixed-use masterplanning, retail, transport and emergency services sectors within both the UK and International markets.

He is very skilled in managing and coordinating the concept, design and consultation process with client organisations, government authorities and major commercial stakeholders, with extensive experience in the masterplanning and conceptual design of a range of infrastructure projects. He is also well versed in realising opportunities for funding with experience of ERDF, TIF,DBFM, BOT, PFI and specialised procurement structures.
