CEO Darren Comber and Associate Architect Matthew Humphreys will be attending the EcoCity World Summit which is taking place at the Barbican Centre, London this week.
The Ecocity World Summit is the pioneer and longest-running global conference on ecology and cities. Every two years it brings together urban stakeholders from across the globe to focus on key actions cities and citizens can take to rebuild our human habitat in balance with living systems.
We will be digitally exhibiting our work on Cheapside Park, which explores the potential of repurposing the concept of the High Street. Our project envisions a vibrant setting where educational engagement takes place amidst a backdrop of cafes, restaurants, and sports facilities – presenting a new ‘destination’ for the city rather than somewhere that is merely passed through to go somewhere else.
