We are now a member of the Passivhaus Trust. Becoming a member of the Trust and growing our established in-house team of Certified Passivhaus Designers are important steps in increasing our sustainability expertise across our studios.

The Passivhaus Trust is an independent non-profit organisation that provides leadership in the UK for the adoption of the Passivhaus standard and methodology. It is an official UK affiliate of the International Passive House Association (iPHA), and by joining the Trust as a member, we automatically become a member of the iPHA too. The aim of the Trust is to promote Passivhaus as an effective way of providing high standards of occupant comfort and health, with a key focus on reducing the energy usage and carbon emissions of buildings in the UK.

Becoming a member not only provides our designers with access to the latest research, resources and training; it enables us as a practice, to support promotion of the Passivhaus standard in the UK.

Through designing to Passivhaus standards, we are able to accurately model the in-use energy consumption and internal conditions and close the ‘Performance Gap’ between what is designed and what is delivered. Our membership with the Passivhaus Trust forms part of our commitment strategy to sustainability in the built environment and provide clients with accredited expertise to create future-ready projects increasing investment value certainty and assurance for architectural quality.
