Last night we partnered with the UKGBC and hosted the IoD Property and Built Environment Group ‘Learn & Network Summer Soire’ event, identifying the pathways to propel the sector forward sustainably and drive solutions to transform buildings, communities, cities and infrastructure so that people and nature can thrive. 
 
The session was opened by Chair of the IoD Property and Built Environment Group Richard Nelson and Director and member of the IoD Property and Built Environment Group leadership team Nyasa Beale. Staff from the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), namely Michael Clarke, FRSA, Emily-Rose Garnett and Philippa Birch-Wood, presented a brief overview of their programme and resources for building owners, designers, contractors and anyone working in the built environment. 

This was followed by a Q&A, and drinks and nibbles on the terrace to end the evening.
