In a record year of entries, Scott Brownrigg Associates Dagmar Binsted and Felicity Meares have both been shortlisted for the UK Construction Week [UKCW] Role Models 2020.

The shortlist is made up of 102 Role Models from across the world of construction including architects, engineers, construction project managers, site managers, quantity surveyors, a wide range of sustainability, health and safety and geotechnical experts, tradespeople and professionals focused on digital construction, administration, finance, HR, learning and communications.

The Role Models initiative, which launched in 2018, seeks to uncover the breadth and depth of talent in the construction industry, inspiring future generations to come.

Felicity is an energetic driver of our digital design skills and was shortlisted as a RIBA Rising Star in 2019. Her notable projects include St George’s College Activity Centre, and the Arm Headquarters in Cambridge. She has a keen interest in wellbeing and the role Architecture can play in getting people more physically active and is also a sustainability lead driving forward our circular economy strategy. She is an active member of our Future Architects Forum and hosts and attends Next Gen networking events 

Dagmar is a passionate advocate for diversity in the profession and supporting the next generation. She takes an active role, in and out of working hours, as a mentor for our Architectural Apprenticeship Programme for which Scott Brownrigg is a Trailblazer Practice. Dagmar is an experienced architect leading a number of projects improving the safety of our existing building stock with re-cladding schemes. Her recent projects include a new commercial development in Newmarket Road, Fordham, the refurbishment of No.1 Puddle Dock and 5-6 St. James’s Square in London.
