Two projects designed by Scott Brownrigg have won Structural Timber Awards.

The Awards, which recognise the most innovative achievements in timber, have celebrated the Kingsteignton Primary School for SIPs Project of the Year, and the Timber Office Concept for the Pioneer Award.

Scott Brownrigg worked collaboratively with Stora Enso, Ramboll, JLL and Gardiner & Theobald on a flexible Timber Office Concept. The Timber Office combines carbon reduction in building fabric and innovation. With an adaptable design, that uses a modular, kit of parts approach, such advanced design techniques are able to reshape our working lives and push sustainability, flexibility and wellbeing to the top of the agenda; an everyday practice for Scott Brownrigg.

Kingsteignton Primary School in Devon won the award for SIPs (Structural Insulation Panels) Project of the Year. Scott Brownrigg worked alongside leading contractor Galliford Try to design the school according to award-winning Optimum Schools principles. The school used structural panels provided by Innovaré Systems, contributing to a timesaving of 14 weeks on the project.
