This week, Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Madinah Airport) was awarded the Best Regional Airport in the Middle East in the Skytrax World Airport Awards.  

Hosted in collaboration with the Passenger Terminal Expo, the annual awards celebrate best-performing airports across the globe.

Our design, inspired by the airport’s role as a gateway for millions of Islamic pilgrims and the palm tree with its symbolism for peace and welcome, has become emblematic in the terminal building which completed back in 2013. This same concept has formed the basis of our designs for the expansion of Madinah Airport, which is due to start on-site later this year.
