International design practice Scott Brownrigg has opened an office on Fifth Avenue, New York. This latest opening represents a significant strategic move into the North American market for Scott Brownrigg, and reinforces its international expansion strategy and its commitment to further growing its global business operations.
The new office follows the appointment earlier this year of Christopher Blackadder who is heading up the North America Design Hub and driving growth and business across the east coast and the wider US.
Chris has over 20 year’s industry experience, with a background in architecture, project management and workplace consulting. He previously worked as Principal and Head of Interior Architecture for Woods Bagot where he was responsible for setting up their New York/North American operation, and prior to that was Principal at IA Interior Architects. Chris has been responsible for many significant developments across the US with clients that have included: MetLife; Deloitte; Macquarie; Bloomberg; Westfield; Hakkasan (New York, LA, San Francisco); NYAC; Rockefeller Foundation; Lend Lease, Nokia Siemens Networks; Proctor & Gamble; Diageo; Reckitt Benckiser; Barclays Capital; Marsh McLennan Companies; Jones Lang LaSalle; Bank of America.
