Award-winning design studio Scott Brownrigg Interior Design has appointed Martin Reeves as a Director.
Based in London, Martin will have overall responsibility for the performance of Scott Brownrigg Interior Design and in developing the studio’s multi-sector offering within the corporate, commercial, residential, hospitality and education sectors. Martin joins existing Interior Design Directors, Anna Breheny who provides creative leadership, and Steffan Williams who leads on strategic workplace. Steffan joined the team following the practice’s recent acquisition of GMW Architects.
Working closely with both Directors, Martin will have a particular focus on identifying and developing new UK business opportunities as well as supporting the practice’s wider growth initiatives.
As a registered architect, Martin has over twenty years of architectural and interior design experience, having worked both within the UK and internationally on corporate and commercial schemes, as well as hospitality, residential and healthcare projects.
His early career was spent at Foster and Partners, Grimshaw Architects and Conran and Partners working on schemes which included: the World Trade Centre, San Marino, Italy; the Eden Project, Salford Quays and the award-winning Nottinghill Gate/Kensington Church Street. More recently Martin has worked for NBBJ on schemes including Bloomberg, Finsbury Square, KPMG, One Canada Square, and overseas schemes – Moscow Four Winds, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle and London and Akerselva Atrium Oslo.
Martin joins the practice from Maris Interiors LLP where he was Partner and Group Creative Director responsible for developing workplace strategies for the London Stock Exchange, Betfair Plc, Euroclear, Fremantlemedia, MAL and Edmond De Rothschild, Travelex and PepsiCo.
Martin has particular experience of managing large project teams both at the initial concept stage, through to design and final delivery. His expertise, knowledge and leadership will build upon the strengths of the existing team.
The strategic appointment reinforces the team’s commitment to providing its clients with an exceptional, quality service and reflects Scott Brownrigg Interior Design’s desire to further expand it sector expertise both globally and within the UK
