Scott Brownrigg is proud to announce that it is a support partner of the Women in Architecture Programme in association with the Architects Journal and Architects Review. This support reflects Scott Brownrigg’s commitment to changing the profession for the better. The programme will provide the Practice with further opportunities to inspire and motivate its employees, boost employee retention and attract talent - all of which are at the core of Scott Brownrigg as a Practice.
The Women in Architecture Partner Programme is a standard of employer excellence and industry leadership. Programme Partners will actively help to drive and support the campaign for change in the industry by directly enabling the campaign, its global survey, research publications and awards, to acknowledge the outstanding contribution female architects make to the wider profession.
Partners must support an office culture and working practice that represents excellence.
Of the support, Darren Comber CEO writes: “Scott Brownrigg is committed to encouraging and promoting diversity and equality through inclusion throughout its design studios and within the profession. Becoming supporters of the Women in Architecture Programme will enable the Practice to elevate this dialogue, to ensure that accessibility for all and equality at all levels can be achieved”.
This latest support reinforces Scott Brownrigg’s commitment to ensuring there is complete access to the architectural profession. Scott Brownrigg is a founding partner, leading the Architectural Apprenticeship Trailblazer Process initiative, is a founding partner of the London School of Architecture (LSA), is an RIBA Practice Role Model and partnered the AR’s Emerging Architecture Programme last year and in 2015.
