As a member of the Low Carbon Research Institute, Scott Brownrigg is one of four practices in Wales partnering Cardiff University in a combined three year research programme.  The research programme, being carried out across all Welsh Universities addresses most aspects of sustainability, with Cardiff University specifically exploring the built environment; Scott Brownrigg is leading the research within the education and office sectors. Access to research into the low carbon design of other building types will also be shared with all members. It is funded by the WEFO and WAG with the aim of promoting and delivering low carbon design using prediction tools, best practice and monitoring in use.
