Introducing our newly promoted Directors, Mario Vieira and Nyasa Beale.
As Head of Sustainability Mario is responsible for setting our sustainability objectives and targets, leading in the planning and implementing of initiatives to meet these. Encouraging project teams to look at sustainability holistically, to identify project specific opportunities, to solve the technical challenges, but always remembering that sustainability is firstly about people, fairness and justice. He is leading the team in developing the practice's sustainability toolkit, with a focus on climate literacy, carbon reductions, health and well-being, and social value.
He has delivered some of our largest and most complex residential projects with outstanding results including Vista and West End Gate. He is also a member of our Operations Board and the recently formed EOT Committee.
Nyasa has had a big impact in shaping our current team and the Covent Garden studio culture since joining Scott Brownrigg in 2012. She has been instrumental in designing and delivering some of our largest and highest profile projects in London including Portal Way, The Atlas Building, Eden Grove and Old Church Street.
In 2018 she moved to New York for three years to help establish our US operation - SB+C. She now leads the residential team in our London studio focusing on front end design and international projects.
