Scott Brownrigg’s design for the GMT bar at the Hard Rock Hotel London is a finalist for Best Club and Bar Design at the SBID International Design Awards 2019.

Considered as one of the most prestigious accolades in interior design by the best in the industry, the SBID International Design Awards are awarded purely on the quality of the design, innovation, aesthetic and value-added to the project

The hotel’s central bar, the GMT bar, is the focal feature within the hotel’s ground floor; a centrepiece of our design for the hotel that captures the identity of the iconic Hard Rock brand.

The bar’s lighting has carefully been designed to complement the hundreds of brass fins that span the ceiling. And once the sun sets the bar comes to life with a series of lighting displays.

Hard Rock Hotel London was selected by a technical panel, followed by a judges’ panel in the first two stages of the process. The judges’ decisions are then finalised by a third tier online public vote.
