Director of Hospitality David Mason has secured a place in the final 25 of Hotel Designs' Brit List Awards 2019. Following his shortlisting earlier this year in the annual list that recognises key influencers in British hotel designs in the last 12 months, the judges agreed on the final 25 in each category (designers, architects and hoteliers).

The 75 final ‘Brit List Winners’ were announced at the awards night on 21 November 2019 in London. The evening celebrated Britain’s role as a leading international hotel design and hospitality hub.

This recognition follows the opening of the first Hard Rock Hotel London earlier this year. David led a team that designed all the public spaces for the Hotel including: the Rock Shop, Hard Rock Café, Cocktail Bar, Lounge Bar and a live music stage. We worked closely with both Hard Rock International and glh Hotels in order to create a unique concept tailored for the UK hospitality market. Hard Rock’s music heritage led our design concept from start to finish and now visitors can enjoy a 4* venue amongst some of the most recognised memorabilia in the world.

Our designs for Hard Rock Hotel London have since won at the International Hotel and Property Awards, and were shortlisted at the SBID International Design Awards.
