Scott Brownrigg’s Design Research Unit (DRU) has published issue 8 of Intelligent Architecture (iA). The edition casts casts a spotlight on just some of the Unit’s activities and also provides commentary on industry wide issues.
This special issue is dedicated to the conceptual outputs of Scott Brownrigg’s internal Design Charette, which focus on the notion that the ‘detail should be informed by the concept, and in turn the concept should be informed by the detail.
The iA publication aims to cast a spotlight on those fields of research and design activities that can make a difference to the practice, the built environment and to a client’s projects, as well as on the individuals and groups that carried out that research.
