Scott Brownrigg Chief Executive Darren Comber joined the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects [WCCA] on Tuesday 9 June 2020 to give their first virtual Annual Lecture.

Introduced by Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor, Alderman William Russell, Darren presented on ‘How Covid-19 will impact behavioural change within the commercial property market.’

In his address, Darren reflected on how sustainability has become a fundamental part of the design process in the commercial property market. Asking, will Covid-19 impact upon today’s commercial property market in the same way?

Earlier this year, all efforts at Scott Brownrigg’s Design Research Unit were diverted towards investigating how to minimise the spread of contagion through design. In discussing this topic, Darren shares an insight into the outcome of our research thus far.
