Scott Brownrigg Interior Design’s fit-out for Circle Housing at Two Pancras Square has been shortlisted for this year’s BCO awards in the regional ‘Projects up to 2,000 sq m’ category. The awards celebrate the best interior fit-out projects across London and the South East.
The BCO awards, which define excellence in office space, provide public recognition for top quality design and functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces; acknowledging innovation and focusing attention on examples of best practice.
The project, located on the second floor of a new building directly opposite King’s Cross station and St Pancras International, was completed in January 2015 and forms the new flagship headquarters for the UK housing association. The new office centralised the organisation’s existing London locations and marked the first of the housing group’s office re-designs.
The floor was fitted out in line with Circle Housing’s agile working policy which embraced flexible working and omitted set desk space for employees. Bespoke zones included a break-out space known as The Garden; a kitchen area with breakfast bar known as Home; and a snug reading room with comfortable seating called The Library.
The winners of the London and South East regional BCO Awards will be announced at a special gala lunch on 26 April 2016 at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The event will be presented by BBC Arts Editor, Will Gompertz.
