The silicon-inspired headquarters for technology designer Arm have been shortlisted for ArchDaily’s Building of the Year awards.
Tailored to Arm’s identity as the world’s leading semiconductor technology designer, the building design is inspired by the structure of silicon. Scott Brownrigg’s design references to the science that underlies the technology of integrated circuits; a fundamental technology that controls everything from computers and cellular phones, to wearable technology.
The ethos behind the ArchDaily Building of the Year Award is simple: the readers, the largest community of architects on the internet, vote to decide the best architecture of the year in 15 categories.
Over the next two weeks, you can vote and subsequently reward the best architecture published on the ArchDaily platform in 2020.
The first round includes nominating the project. This stage ends on 10 February. Please note you must be a registered user of the MyArchDaily platform. After this, five projects per category will move into the finalists stage, starting February 10th and ending on February 18th at 12:01AM EST. The winners will be announced on February 18th, 2021.
