The silicon-inspired headquarters for technology designer Arm is a finalist at the BCO awards, in the category 'Corporate Workplace'.
Tailored to Arm’s identity as the world’s leading semiconductor technology designer, the building design is inspired by the structure of silicon. Scott Brownrigg’s design references to the science that underlies the technology of integrated circuits; a fundamental technology that controls everything from computers and cellular phones, to wearable technology.
"Arm are a unique client, with multifaceted needs, and the new HQ fully embraces these requirements. From the quiet focused work zones which wrap around the collaborative ‘diamonds’ though to the buzz and activity in the central street, we have reflected the silicon technology which underpins everything they do. We are delighted to have been able to create this unique headquarters for such a fascinating client, and it’s great to see them embracing their new home."
